    Thank you for your reply. Fast and shallow is what I think most straight or bi people would want. For the more dedicated CD/TS into this stuff yes a longer length of stroke and slower speed would be wanted. Sounds like a high torque low speed electric motor with a motor speed controller, and using a round 12" diameter steel plate.I used to work in automotive engineering and testing so know about rotating and reciprocating test setups to push buttons and bump switches on and off, etc. I was never good at machining and metal fabrication, I dealt with building the electronics (whether a timer or a micro-controller).

    Fixed this message out of spam folder, but yes, Hismith can offer stroke lenght of 6 inches and one machine costing near 2k can offer 6,7inches… nice machines, but i have no use for this shallow strokes. I do run mine around 10inch stroke length and one video i made with maximum 12inch stroke. I personally love the toy sliding and deep strokes, fast and/or shallow strokes combined with huge price is not for me.

    Although I cannot answer for Ylvis88 and cannot post plans to build one from spare parts, I will say I have seen a lot of these machines in use online and have some personal experience myself and can say the best brand to get seems to be HiSmith (website: Hismith-dot-com). They run $400-$800 USD but are worth it. You can buy cheaper to start but you will wind up wanting a better one later, trust me. "Buy once cry once" as we say about getting quality tools for serious work that last. It's a big financial hit but if you budget and plan to only buy quality sex toys and lube and have the goal to have a small but high quality collection you can do it.

    I did not find machine with the spec i wanted in my budjet, so this one is build by my self. Almost all is made from scrap i had layin around… cost me around 16 euros.
